Iberian ham and vitamins E, B1, B6, B12 and folic acid

Iberian ham and cured Iberian pork provides proteins, vitamins B1, B6, B12 and folic acid, very beneficial for the nervous system and the proper functioning of the brain.

The fats of the Iberian acorn-fed pig have more than 55% oleic acid, a mono-unsaturated acid.

According to various scientific studies, these fats have a beneficial effect on blood cholesterol:

  • reduce the rate of harmful cholesterol (LDL)

  • increase the rate of beneficial cholesterol (HDL)

In the cured Iberian pork products, the percentage of unsaturated fatty acids is greater than 75%, which makes it the most “cardio-healthy” animal fat of all.
